Nauhaus Network 
The Nauhaus prototype project is a collaborative effort of a group of businesses located in Asheville, North Carolina who set out to create one of the first "carbon neutral urban homesteads" in the world. The Nauhaus Institute (NHI) is an offshoot of the prototype project. NHI's mission is to share and expand upon what is being learnt through the research, design, and construction of the prototype. We are an independent research, development and educational organization seeking 501(c)3 tax exempt status. Our business model is open source sharing of information and we are actively seeking funding through grants and donations to fulfill that mission. Our only commercial service for hire is consulting.
